Meeting Minutes
April 18, 2013


A regular meeting of the board of directors of the Dakota Ridge Homeowners Association was held on April 18, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. in the Board Room of The Commercial Property Group, LLC at 3001 S. Lincoln, Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Tom Valicenti
Jim Simon


Guests: Medora Fralick
Stephanie McDonald

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

The first order of business was the Board Officer Election. After some discussion the officers are as follows:
Mindy Williams – President
Kathe McCoy – Vice President
Carrie Hayden – Treasurer
Tom Valicenti – Water
Jim Simon – Roads

Each office will be for one year.

The next agenda item was State of the Neighborhood Discussion and Update. The new members were brought up to date on the water system and water testing to be done this year.

Discussion ensued concerning the inconsistent pricing for propane within the neighborhood. Tom and Jim would like to meet as a board with Ferrellgas and discuss the pricing for the neighborhood.

Jim asked to look at the neighborhood comments from the ballots sent out for the Annual Meeting at the next board meeting.

Jim suggested setting objectives for the year as a board with the gas pricing being one of them.

Tom and Jim stated that they want to ensure that the Dakota Ridge neighborhood is a friendly place and have some ideas about improving that image.

The status of past due accounts was given by Medora.

Jim asked about the money market account and the possibility of better returns on the account. He will be given more information from Nancy Kounovsky at The Commercial Property Group.

Annual Meeting minutes were discussed and will be approved via email by the board.

The next meeting is Thursday, May 9, 2013

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
