Dakota Ridge Board of Directors Meeting

The Board scheduled a brief session in order to review responses on the second cluster mailbox survey as they related to whether users would be willing to pay $200 each for the initial installation. All Board Members voted to move forward with the installation and pay for it from the capital reserve account in lieu of charging homeowners. It was agreed that the latter would be difficult to monitor fairly since keys are distributed by the post office. All Members also voted to engage Native Excavating vs. Soucy Concrete since the bids were similar and Native is already responsible for snow removal. Andrea will follow up with Native on a sketch and to have the 40 ft pullout marked with flags beforehand so that the location can be altered if necessary. She also reported that the boxes have taken up to 3-4 weeks for delivery and Native cannot be scheduled until they arrive. Although only two cluster boxes might be needed to start based on respondents, the majority of the Board chose to go ahead and install three (plus the parcel box) so that the project is complete. Lastly, Andrea was asked to gain clarity on the insurance coverage and cost prior to the next Board meeting on July 9th.
