A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Dakota Ridge Homeowners Association was called to order by President Sarah Jones at 8:05 am on May 10, 2018 in the Board Room of The Commercial Property Group, LLC at 3001 S. Lincoln Ave., Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
With regard to the water system, Jim provided an update of the Chlorine Contact Basin Project and reported that Duckels Construction was awarded the bid for the project. Work is expected to be completed this summer. There is no update to the Water System Capital Improvement Plan, at this time.
Paul recapped the Association’s financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018. The overall income & expense from operations resulted in a surplus of $69,626.20. Sarah made a motion to transfer the surplus into the Reserve Account. Jim seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. In review of the Association’s fiscal year to date financial results as of April 30, 2018, the overall income and expense from operations demonstrates a deficit of $5914.72, largely due to the water repair that occurred in late April.
Concerning Roads, Medora explained that Rocky Mountain Asphalt will be crack sealing towards the end of the summer. Notice will be given to homeowners so that they can make arrangements for any service to their driveways, if desired.
Regarding ARC business, David Zedeck will be stepping down from the committee.
Under Ongoing Projects, Sarah will ask the executive director of the Routt County Riders to remind riders to be respectful of private roads and neighborhoods.
With concern to Fire Mitigation, Medora informed the Board that All-Weather Services would be removing dead, down trees on lots owned by DRHOA, in the next few weeks.
Under Other Business, Paul requested CPG to solicit bids from the three trash companies that are serving Dakota Ridge for a contract to serve all houses in Dakota Ridge.
The next Board meeting was scheduled for July 12, 2018 at 8:00 am.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 am.
Respectfully submitted,
Angie Hansen
