Board of Directors Meeting

A meeting of the board of directors of the Dakota Ridge Homeowners Association was called to order by President Sharon Pace at 8:05 am in the Board Room of The Commercial Property Group, LLC at 3001 S. Lincoln, Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Tim gave an update on the Capital Improvement Plan. The completed reports from both Civil Design Consultants and Northwest CO Consultants are expected by the end of next week. The reports will then be presented to the Capital Improvements Committee and then to the Board for approval.
Tomas recapped the Association’s year to date financial results ending October 31, 2016. Association income is over budget by approximately $40,000, primarily related to 2nd quarter water billings (July – Sept) due to significantly higher than budgeted water usage. Association operating expenses are under budget by approximately $15,000. The largest variances are Water System Repairs and Water Operations. The Association’s overall income and expense from operations compares favorably to the budget by approximately $55,000.
No action was taken with regard to Roads.
No action was taken with regard to ARC.
The board discussed a complaint by a homeowner about skateboarding in the neighborhood.
The Board set March 23, 2017 as the date for the next annual meeting of members.
The next Board meeting will be held on December 15, 2016 at 8:05 am.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 am.
